ABOUT ME…

My name is William Harvey, and I am an award winning wildlife and nature photographer based in Surrey, England.

My interest in wildlife photography grew out of a lifelong love for nature and the outdoors. I have a particular interest in British wildlife and spend a lot of time photographing the wildlife around my home in Surrey. For me, one of the most important aspects of wildlife photography is spending the maximum possible amount of time with a subject, building up a knowledge and understanding of its habits and behaviour and using that to get shots of it going about its everyday life in its natural surroundings.

My images have been awarded in the British Wildlife Photography Awards and shortlisted in a number of other major competitions including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, British Photography Awards, Bird Photographer of the Year, NatureTTL Photographer of the Year and Outdoor Photographer of the Year. My work has been published in the national and international media.
